Computer Condoms… do you wear one?

I started saying this about a year ago when people were using their computers and the internet without virus protection, hence… computer condoms. No one should be using a computer these days without some sort of protection, but there are a lot who do, mainly because they either don’t know which one to buy and/or they cannot afford to buy it. I really hope they just aren’t being LAZY and feel… “it won’t happen to me.” A lot of babies were born because people thought “it won’t happen to me.” So you can get a virus on your computer without protection too!

Norton’s Safe Web Lite – http://safeweb.norton.com/ – this product adds additional features to your browsers. If you are on a site that has been reported as unsafe, it will give you a message before opening that site. At that point – you will access the site at your own risk!

Windows Defender – http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx – this is running directly in the background when you start your computer.
