Facebook jumped by 60 million monthly active users from 1.94 billion in march 2017 to 2.01 billion as of June 30, 2017 (Later updated to 2.07B). The rate of growth seems to continue at 20 million active users per month. So, by the end of the year we should see 2.3 billion Facebook monthly active users. Here’s the post where Zuckerberg announced the news:
Planned content begins with the creative/marketing team generating their ideas, once they have completed their ideas they send them off for approval. There is two general ways of doing so. The first is where each sector approves the plan one after another, editor, brand, followed by the legal team (Brito, 2013). Sectors may differ depending on the size and philosophy of the business. The second is where each sector is given 24 hours (or such designated time) to sign off or disapprove. If no action is given within the 24-hour period the original plan is implemented. Planned content is often noticeable to customers and is un-original or lacks excitement but is also a safer option to avoid unnecessary backlash from the public. Both routes for planned content are time consuming as in the above; the first way to approval takes 72 hours to be approved. Although the second route can be significantly shorter it also holds more risk particularly in the legal department.
Your claim that “But knowing the basics — what they are, why they’re popular, and what problems can crop up when they’re not used responsibly — can make the difference between a positive and a negative experience for your kid.,” is a genetic fallacy because you are stating that parents do not know what their kids are doing, but at the same time it is a tautology. This is considered a genetic fallacy because it is common for older people, i.e., most parents of teens, do not know what all these social media apps are about and it is common since these are new technologies that are developing fast and are hard to keep up with when you have much more to worry about. Most people have who have difficulty are those with families. Which whom are most, if not all, parents. So now assuming that with the knowledge you share parents of teens will be well informed of what each app is and what it is utilized for is a claim that is derived from your ending statement, which is where you created a tautology. The information that is used to prove your argument only shows that the ends were the means, by which I mean the point of your argument was to introduce your conclusion. So the best thing to do is to make sure that if you are going to post anything informational there should be a long check of logical fallacies.
Facebook made a startling admission in its earnings announcement this month: it was seeing a “decrease in daily users, specifically among teens”. In other words, teenagers are still on Facebook; they’re just not using it as much as they did. It was a landmark statement, since teens are the demographic who often point rest of us towards the next big thing.

Some reviewers pointed out that the film plays loosely, however, with the facts behind Facebook’s founding. Joe Morgenstern in The Wall Street Journal praised the film as exhilarating but noted: “The biographical part takes liberties with its subject. Aaron Sorkin based his screenplay on a contentious book, Ben Mezrich’s The Accidental Billionaires, so everything that’s seen isn’t necessarily to be believed.”
People spend twice as much time online as they used to 12 years ago. And while we say it a lot, the way people shop and buy really has changed, meaning offline marketing isn’t as effective as it used to be…
‘Yik Yak is the Wild West of anonymous social apps,’ Danielle Keats Citron, a law professor at University of Maryland and the author of ‘Hate Crimes in Cyberspace’ told The New York Times earlier this year. ‘It is being increasingly used by young people in a really intimidating and destructive way.’
It also means I can share snippets of my personal life with those that follow me, which I think is hugely important for brands these days. People want to know the people behind the business and when you share photos of trips or funny everyday stories it connects you with your prospective market at a deeper level.

It is increasingly becoming important for small business, as well as big business to be active on these social media platforms. Until recently, we were focusing mainly on Google+, Facebook and Twitter, but I understand there is a need to be live on all platforms available at our disposal today.
