Making its debut in the early summer of 2011, Google+ became the fastest growing social network the web has ever seen. After failing a couple times already with Google Buzz and Google Wave, the search giant finally succeeded at creating something that stuck . . . kind of.

I don’t think Mark wants to be so cold. Then again, sometimes I think that’s exactly how we wants to be perceived. He never really seems to honestly enjoy his successes. He never acts like he wants the money. He never really seems to want much more other than to be seen as someone stronger than he is. He wants to be different. Eisenberg communicates things along the lines of self-punishment and hatred with Mark. It’s in his face and the quiver and shake of his voice. It’s all in how a person so precise can be so uncomfortable in his own skin.

The picture here is a bit different if we look at the brand names. WhatsApp and Messenger are in a close race for the top spot. But both of theses most popular social media apps are owned by Facebook so the competition may not be as fierce as between completely separate companies. Then there’s a lot of Asian apps and then on the sixth spot is Instagram, again owned by Facebook.

Odditly isn’t a marketing company. They are a auditing firm. They are like the sheriffs of online marketing. After I hired odditly to look over the contracts with the local marketing company, they discovered i wasn’t getting what I was paying for. There was a breach of contract hence I was able to cancel my contract and even got a few hundred refunded! Moral of the story, just do your research and due diligence prior to blowing all your money on a company who have nothing but fake promises.

Well, Vero is a social media app for your smartphone, a bit like Instagram, but it claims in its manifesto to offer a more “authentic” experience.
